AMD Ryzen PRO 7000 series chips for business PCs and laptops announced

AMD announced its new Ryzen PRO 7000 series chips based on its Zen4 architecture and built on the 4nm manufacturing node. The Ryzen PRO 7000 series come less than a year after the Ryzen PRO 5000 and are based on the future-proof AM5 platform and require DDR5 memory. In addition, the new 7000 series now supports PCIe Gen5. The PRO 7000 series are aimed at business desktops with the Ryzen 9 PRO 7945, 12C/124T clocked at up to 5.4 GHz, the Ryzen 7 PRO 7745 8C/16T, running at up to 5.3 GHz and the Ryzen 5 PRO 7645, 6C/12T that can go up to 5.1 GHz.
