Huawei's MediaPad tablet line is due for an update and today we got our first glimpse of the upcoming MediaPad M6 on the company's online store. The slate will come in 8.4-inch and 10.7-inch versions both of 2560×1660 resolution. Another common component between the two versions is the Kirin 980 chipset. Insiders report that Huawei will unveil a new chipset tomorrow, undeterred by the fallout from the US/China trade war. No, probably not the flagship Kirin 985, instead it's expected to be a replacement for the Kirin 710 from mid-2018.
